Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent for our property in Euclid, OH. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for helping people find their perfect homes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for leasing activities and fostering positive relationships with residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet prospective tenants and provide tours of available units, highlighting key features and amenities.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing accurate information about rental properties and leasing terms.
  • Conduct thorough screenings of prospective tenants, including background checks and credit evaluations.
  • Assist with lease signings and move-in processes, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with prospective tenants to answer questions, address concerns, and encourage lease signings.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure units are ready for move-in and address any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain organized records of leasing activities, including rental applications, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out documentation.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to attract prospective tenants, including creating and distributing promotional materials and participating in community events.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor pricing to make recommendations for pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the property.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or real estate preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (AppFolio experience is a plus).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
