Estimator
In this role, you will be a member of our highly reputable estimating team. You will be providing detailed estimates, budgets, cost planning, scope reviews, and pre/post contract negotiations for masonry projects throughout Richmond, Tidewater, and Piedmont areas in Virginia. We’re looking for individuals that are familiar with the software Tradesmen's Master Estimating for masonry.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial masonry experience with new ground-up structures, design-build/development, renovations/additions, and budgets. Project types: military facilities, barracks, K-12 schools, university facilities, dormitories, sports facilities, high rises, big box retail, hospitals, and hotels.
A potential candidate is expected to work on multiple projects, track and pursue outstanding bids with clients and developing relationships. The ideal candidate will work closely with the project management team to ensure all expectations are met for a successful project.
Desired Skills and Expertise
Tradesmen's Master Estimator Software is the program we at our firm. Masonomics is looking for individuals with several years of experience with this particular named software.
The selected candidate will require to perform on screen take-offs in civil, landscape, architectural & structural, cmu, brick, stone, steel & accessories, procure quotes from vendors on materials, equipment as required. We are willing to further train but must have knowledgeable computer skills and experience in masonry estimating.
We want to hire the best and brightest people who will consistently “raise the bar” and bring new ideas to the table. Must be knowledgeable in all of the following: civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, interior & exterior building wall systems. Possess good organizational and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required Specialties: Bluebeam Revu, Tradesmen's Master Estimator Software, Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam Studio, Autodesk.
Salary will be evaluated based on experience.
