Beekman Square Diner is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a host/hostess! Morning and evening shifts available! Full-time and part-time available! Weekend availability is a must. Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred.

Host/Hostesses MUST :

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Seat guests according to a rotation to avoid over seating
• Be knowledgeable on all menu items and their ingredients
• Answer phones and accurately record take-out orders and reservations
• Accurately input phone orders and online orders into POS system
• Accurately pack take-out orders
• Settle guest checks
• Uphold a professional image throughout the shift
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the hostess station
• Stock the hostess station with necessary supplies
• Professionally and politely direct any issues that arise to manager on duty

Additional Requirements/Duties :

• Assist Servers with drink refills in times of high volume
• Assist with bussing tables in times of high volume
• Cover Shifts when needed
• Prepare specialty coffees when needed
• You must have the ability to stand for up to 8 hours

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Sunday-Thursday 8AM-9PM

Friday-Saturday 8AM-9:30PM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
