This is a very rewarding position offering companionship and exercise to dogs and cats while their pet parents are away, whether for the day while at work or traveling. We have been providing five star care for dogs and cats in the general area of N. Raleigh since 2007 and due to growth, are in immediate need of stellar caregivers!

Candidate Requirements:

• We are accepting applications from those who reside in the following zip codes: 27607, 27608, 27609, 27612, 27613 and 27615. Also parts of 27601 closest to Five Points and 27614 west of Six Forks bordering the 27615 zip code.
• Huge animal lover! We provide compassionate and loving care for dogs and cats of all ages and needs.
• Recent experience with dogs, whether volunteer, professional, or with personal pets. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Cat experience a plus!
• Extremely reliable (pets are depending on you!), trustworthy, compassionate with a strong work ethic and genuine love and concern for animal well-being.
• Excellent time management skills, detail-oriented with a natural drive to go the extra mile and provide first-class care.
• 21 yrs or older
• Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Have a smart phone to use our pet sitting app.

Our Openings:

We offer flexible work schedules to fit your lifestyle! You won't necessarily work the entire "visit window" listed in each of the options below, but have the ability to work during this time.

• We multiple openings for Mon-Fri between 10am to about 3pm. Must be available Mon-Fri.
• Mornings 7-10am
• Dinner-Evenings: About 4pm-9:30pm
• Weekends: Anytime between 7am-9:30pm
• If you have a flexible schedule to accommodate one or more of these options let us know!

What We Offer:

• Income range is $300-$1000 a month depending on your availability.
• We pay per visit with the average hourly rate being $16-$22/hour depending on individual pet parent needs.
• Increase in compensation can occur within 3 months of consistent pet care with additional milestone increase opportunities.

What We Do:

Dog Walking:

• Travel to client's home to take dog(s) out for a walk with most being 30 minutes.
• Proper pet waste pick up and disposal, refresh water and give treat/feed meal if requested.
• Take send a short visit note and pictures of the fund their pet had with you!

Pet Sitting: In addition to what we do for dog walking, we provide the following for our clients traveling out of town:

• For cats, we play with/engage with them as they enjoy. Many love to play with toys or be brushed, pet and pampered!
• Scoop litter boxes
• Feed, refresh water, and if needed, provide medication as requested by pet parent.
• Light house sitting: Trash day service, bringing in mail and packagings, rotating lights and blinds, watering a few house plants.

• Do you have a reliable smartphone with unlimited data, GPS, camera, text and ability to download and use the pet sitting software app we use when visiting with clients?
• The compensation range is between $300-1,000 a month depending on your availability to work. Please confirm the income within this range you are hoping to earn.
• Tell us about any recent professional (paid) pet sitting/dog walking experience or volunteer pet care experience you have.
• Tell us about your current / most recent pet and what you enjoy most about being a pet parent.
• If considered for this position, you will need to provide proof you are at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and currently insured vehicle. We will run a criminal background check and contact your professional references. We may need to contact you via telephone, text, email and possibly by Zoom virtual meetings.
