Lead .NET Developer (WebAPI, Azure, Razor, ASP.NET, Blazor) (Remote- Northeast)

We are currently recruiting a Lead .NET Developer for our client, a Commonwealth PA entity. The focus of this role is to enhance, maintain, and support client applications and to design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the client's coding standards.

This contract position is long-term with funding approved until 6/30/2025 and further extensions are likely with funding approved every 12 months. This position is 100% remote, 37.5 hours/week, supporting our client's offices located in Harrisburg PA. The chosen candidate will need to report onsite for equipment pick-up. The preferred candidates should reside within a 2 hour commute of Harrisburg, PA.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and build new web-based applications that adhere to the client's coding standards.

• Involvement in all phases of Application development, including requirements gathering, design, and testing.

• Perform senior-level software programming and analysis work to include functional and non-functional requirements and validation.

• Design and develop highly complex integrated system modules

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 years of hands-on software development experience.

• 5 years of experience in leading teams at a technical level, building and consuming WebAPIs.

• 4 years of experience on .NET Core experience

• 1 year of experience with Blazor and its related technologies in the building front.

• Experience in API documentation.

• Experience in integrating with 3rd party services, especially payment processing.

• Experience in creating SSRS Reports and SSIS packages and SQL Server

• Experience in troubleshooting legacy applications in ASP.NET WebForms, JavaScript and jQuery.

• Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ and unit testing, Git, and OAuth.

• Experience in directly working and interacting with business users, gathering business requirements, and converting them to technical specifications.

• Experience with Azure Cloud, Razor pages, and CSHTML, CSS frameworks is desired

• Experience with Dependency Injection and how it works, AutoMapper or an alternative tool, PowerShell scripting is desired

• Understanding of GIS and the core concepts involving location, Veracode, AppScan, or any of the AppSec tools and modernizing legacy applications is desired

Compensation: $60/h -$64/h on w2 (Depends on experience)
