Hampton By Hilton Tacoma is seeking a Security Guard for our Tacoma, WA. We have a great team and are looking for someone to grow with us. We are looking for someone who is dependable, friendly, and hardworking.

Duties include:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into properties
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with procedures
• Apprehend and detain people who violate laws or present safety concerns
• Report any suspicious activity
• Photographing people and vehicles at regular intervals for surveillance purposes
• Monitoring surveillance video cameras or other video recordings to ensure they are running properly, reporting any issues to the supervisor

Skills

• Proven working experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained in defensive action and emergency response procedures
• Ability to operate detection equipment and surveillance systems
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.05 - $21.74 per hour
