Our Mission:

xyzABA strives to provide the highest-level of clinical quality to each client served. We are results-driven and believe in maximizing every opportunity towards positive outcomes.

Core Values:

AUTHENTICITY: Here at xyzABA, we promote living and leading in your truest form, communicating openly with one another and stripping down layers to build upon solid, trusting foundations. We encourage honest conversations, feedback and progress for both our families and our staff. We value forming sincere bonds, recognizing others for who they really are and being inclusive of one another. We believe that by promoting authenticity in the workplace, we are empowering teammates to embrace their individuality. Finally, we believe that creating this safe space builds trust, breeds loyalty, enhances teammate performance and as a result, allows us to maximize positive client outcomes.

CREATIVITY: xyzABA believes that creativity is a necessary characteristic for teammates to embody in any workplace. Creativity means to “put imagination to work.” It requires individuals to embrace their curiosity, have the determination to follow their passions, increase their knowledge and thereby, have the ability and desire to seek and implement innovative ways to teach complex skills to our clients. Our mission at xyzABA is to recognize that when a client is not learning, we must change the way we are teaching. We encourage our teammates to utilize their creative freedom during therapy sessions and bring their unique personalities and perspectives to work each and everyday, so we are truly able to make learning fun for our clients. Ultimately, we believe that outside-the-box-thinking will play a significant role in overcoming barriers and have the longest-lasting impact on our clients.

INTEGRITY: xyzABA values integrity in the workplace as a non-negotiable. Integrity is the quality of having strong ethical or moral principles and following them at all times, even when no one is watching. We believe that our responsibility to the families we serve and to one another, require us to act with self-awareness, honesty, honor and accountability. We build the trust of our families and teammates by ensuring our actions are internally consistent with those characteristics, that we are maintaining client dignity and that we are performing to the best of our ability daily.

Why join our team?

→ Flexible schedule: We work with you to build a schedule that accommodates your individual needs. We aim to guarantee full-time employees a minimum of 32 hours per week, even if sessions are canceled. Full-time employees are eligible for overtime pay. Part-time positions are available for those who are in school programs or prefer a less-intensive working schedule.

→ Clinical quality: We grow within our means and bring new teammates/clients in at an attainable pace. While we would love for our clients to begin receiving treatment right away, we also want to ensure that clients and teammates are set up for success, and we believe that moving too fast can be detrimental due to inadequately-trained staff performing ABA services, incomplete treatment-planning and unprepared program materials. We strive for excellence when providing ABA treatment and work as a team to ensure we are working at a manageable speed.

→ Paid Travel & Mealtimes: All employees are required to have a working mode of transportation to get to/from clients’ homes. Each employee currently receives the necessary drive and lunch time between therapy sessions. Employees’ travel preferences will be taken into consideration when possible; with no more than 1-hour drive-time to the designated location. If a longer drive is necessary, supervisors will check-in to ensure the employee is comfortable.

→ Non-Billable Time: We understand that back-to-back direct therapy sessions are a standard expectation for an RBT role. While we aim to maximize medically-essential ABA treatment for our clients, we also believe that RBT's require time off the floor to be the most-effective on the floor. We offer at least 2 hours of guaranteed ‘admin’ hours into your weekly rotation to ensure that you have time to prepare session materials, complete missing session notes, catch up with your teammates, attend meetings / training or just take a breather & the best part... it's in the comfort of your own home. We instill trust in our RBT's to keep up with their notes and other tasks without having to micromanage them. When additional time is available, we prioritize giving our teammates the adequate time necessary for lesson-planning and stimuli creation so that therapy sessions are productive and our RBT's feel prepared and fully-equipped with the tools & resources needed to implement client programs & protocols. Depending on your specific employment agreement with xyzABA, non-billable time may be paid at a lower rate for hourly employees.

→ Overtime: All authorized and approved work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any one week shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at the overtime rate of one and one-half times the employee’s straight time rate of pay. All overtime must be approved and authorized prior to being worked.

→ Paid Time Off: Full-time employees will be eligible for paid-time off accrual following their initial quarterly review (following 90-day probationary period), pending the passing of their clinical competency checklist, which includes documentation scores and occurrences tracking. Following a passing score during initial quarterly review, employees may accrue up to 10 paid days off (80 hours) with xyzABA annually. PTO benefits will be renegotiated on an annual basis based on performance and Company ability. Teammates may opt to take unpaid days before using their PTO upon request. On top of the 10 paid days offered, employees may be awarded up to 2 paid “flex” days (Mental Health Days - 4 hrs per quarter), totaling 12 paid days off for the full year. This is equivalent to about 1 day off per month (not including holidays; terms and restrictions apply).

→ Health Stipend: xyzABA provides eligible employees with access to a health benefit stipend. Our stipend provides each eligible employee with monthly funds to spend towards any health insurance plan that they so choose. This does not mean that health insurance is provided to you through xyzABA ; this stipend allows each employee to use their benefit stipend at their own discretion.
