Overview:
The Chabot College Performing Arts Complex is excited to announce that we are seeking a permanent full-time Stage Technician to handle all of our production needs!

Under the direction of the Theatre Manager of the Chabot College Performing Arts Complex (PAC), the Stage Technician will provide advance and frontline technical theatre support for performances at all the Performing Arts Complex facilities.

This position will engage with both academic programs and community rental clients. This work will include: serving as one of the technical contacts for clients during events as well as assisting in advance technical planning and scheduling, and will provide leadership to PAC student workers.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years previous professional experience as a Stagehand in a rental facility is required
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
-In depth working knowledge of all theatrical technical equipment (computerized lighting, sound, video and rigging)
- Experience working for a Theatre or Performing Arts Center similar to ours is required
