Job description Updated Wage Scale We are a CMS 5 star rated facility The Gardens at Saint Henry is currently seeking qualified applicants for an RN or LPN. We are a skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living facility. Responsibilities Monitor patients condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Observe and interpret patients symptoms and communicate them to physicians Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients charts Adjust and administer patients medication and provide treatments according to physicians orders Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.) Provide instant medical care in emergencies Assist surgeons during operations Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. Skills Proven experience as a RN or LPN Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Excellent knowledge of emergency care In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills BSc or other diploma from a nursing program Valid nursing license Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour Standard shift: Day shift Supplemental schedule: Holidays Ability to commute/relocate: Saint Henry, OH 45883: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN or LPN License (Preferred) Work Location: In person snthnrclncl Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Physical setting: Inpatient Long term care Nursing home Standard shift: Night shift Supplemental schedule: Holidays Overtime Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday Rotating weekends Weekends as needed Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Preferred) Work Location: In person
