Riverside Refreshments Inc. is a family-owned local beverage and vending company that has been in business for over ninety years offering, beverage, vending, office coffee service and cafeteria services in two states throughout the Central Savannah River Area.

We are seeking a full-time talented Lube Technician - Shop Associate in our fleet division. The position is at our home office in Augusta, Georgia. The schedule for the position is Monday – Friday 7 AM – 5 PM (hour lunch break).

The Lube Technician – Shop Associate will utilize your expertise and skills to perform maintenance work as assigned to include but not limited to:

General Duties:

• Performs oil changes and performing the service to meet manufacturer specifications.
• Responsible for topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid.
• Ability to check tire pressure and filling tires with air as need to manufacturer specifications.
• Responsible for washing fleet vehicles including trucks, company cars as well as cleaning and detailing the inside of vehicles.
• Handles battery replacement and
• Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance.
• Ability to conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Assists Fleet Manager and mechanic in the complete of project work.
• Maintains a clean, sage work area in compliance with company standards. OSHA and performs all work in accordance with established safety standards.
• Required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be dependable, ability to work independently with little supervision – initiative-taking.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees and bending at the knees.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb up and down ladder/stairs, and able to work in bay under vehicles.
• Ability to work in all outdoor conditions, including potential severe weather elements, wintry conditions, heat, rain and/or ice.
• Ability to work in a physical environment which involves dirt, odors, and noise.
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to be initiative-taking in identifying issues, recommending solutions, multi-tasking, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with employees, management, and outside vendors in a professional manner.
• Must be team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and. successfully pass a criminal background check.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent certificate
• Prior lube technician and general shop experience preferred but not required.
• Computer literate
