Blaze is currently seeking a dynamic early elementary teaching professional who has a well-honed ability to unleash the natural intellectual curiosity in young learners and is dedicated to providing their students a world-class education. In this role, you will help create innovative and dynamic hands-on lessons, as well as a robust core curriculum for our primary-grade students. The ideal fit will be an individual with a hands-on approach to teaching, a strong background in reading instruction, and experience in project-based learning. The educator we seek will provide Kindergarten through 2nd grade students with rigorous and outstanding activities and experiences designed to increase their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth in a multi-age, multi-level classroom. This teacher will meet the literacy and numeracy needs of young children who may be non-readers with little mathematics background, intervene with students who may have learning gaps in reading and/or math, and challenge those children who may operate above grade level in one or more areas, enabling all students to develop advanced competencies and skills.

Education: Bachelors required; Masters preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of elementary classroom teaching experience, primary level preferred

Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Above market salary will be considered for exceptional experience and background.
