The IT Administrator is responsible for both network and system administration. This position understands network topologies and can configure and support equipment necessary for the operation of the corporate network. System responsibilities are generally focused on server administration, enterprise application implementation, and systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.
To be successful in this role, you need in-depth knowledge in network and system management, infrastructure, and security. You should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems, work well under pressure, and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
