Arizona Institute for Autism is a leading provider of Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy services also known as ABA therapy services for children on the Autism spectrum. Our team of highly skilled therapists is passionate about their work and takes great pride in seeing each child succeed. Business Analytics and Strategic Consultant will possess a strong background in both finance and operations, with a proven track record of delivering strategic insights and driving operational excellence based on financial analysis in a healthcare business. This role will involve collaborating with the Chief Executive Officer to analyze the financial documentation, identify opportunities for improvement, develop actionable solutions, and support the implementation of initiatives to enhance organizational performance.

The Business Analytics and Strategic Consultant is responsible for leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions and project execution for the business. This role involves performing data analysis and providing strategic insights to ensure it aligns with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, finance, and project management experience.

Job Function

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, prepare financial reports, and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making with growth planning and financial impact assessments for proposed projects.
  • Assist CEO with financial planning, investment analysis, and capital allocation.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze cost structures, revenue projections, and profitability for potential expansions.
  • Implement best practices and process optimization strategies to reduce costs and identify areas for improvement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Implement operational strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Review clinical and corporate employees’ job description to optimize scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management processes.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to measure operational performance and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Provide strategic guidance and insights on business planning, growth strategies, and risk management to support clinic growth and sustainability.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the industry.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to business leadership based on financial and operational insights.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term financial and operational objective.
  • Document project requirements, plans, and outcomes thoroughly and prepare detailed analytical reports.
  • Review projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Understand Employees needs, challenges, and goals, and develop tailored solutions with a financial budget to address their specific requirement and benefits, with focus on quality of service provided.

Required Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, an applicant must meet the following required qualifications.

● Master degree in Finance, Business or related field

● 5-7 Years of experience in finance, operations, or management consulting.

● Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and

problem-solving.

● Strong understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement processes, and regulatory

requirements.

● Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify key insights.

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

● Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive financial excellence.

● Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.

● Knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.

● Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and

stakeholders.

● Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, PMP) and experience with project management techniques are a plus.
