Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers,... is Hiring a Dentist Near Grafton, WV

Preston Taylor Community Health Centers Inc , is composed of a team of dedicated health care professionals that have at heart the mission of the organization of providing comprehensive primary health care services to the residents of the four-county service area of West Virginia in Preston, Taylor, Tucker, and Grant Counties regardless of their ability to pay. This is accomplished through the provision of primary care services that are culturally sensitive and relevant to the needs of the community.

In supporting the delivery of activities deriving from 6 Community Health Care Medical Centers, 2 Pharmacies, 2 Dental Centers, and 1 optometry office, we are seeking a Dentist to join the organization at the Dental Center of Taylor County, located in Grafton, WV.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Educate patients on goo oral hygiene habits

· Prescribe antibiotics and pain-relieving medications.

· Provide patient care for cracked or fractured teeth.

· Perform procedures to treat decay and cavities.

· Prepare and place fillings.

· Examine patients for dental and jaw diagnosis

· Create models for dental appliances

· Perform general dentistry, interpret x-rays, and diagnostic tests.

· Sedate patients and administer anesthetics

· Perform tooth extractions and root canals

· Diagnose and treat oral diseases

· Create detailed plans for patients

· Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues

· Educate patients on aftercare and answer questions.

Qualifications

· DDS – Licensed to practice in state of WV

· CPR certification

· Good interpersonal skills and communication

· Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and an Electronic Dental Record

· Accurate and precise attention to detail

· Compassionate and caring of patients

· Excellent written, verbal communication skills, and organizational abilities

· Compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, office, local, state, American Dental Association regulations, and PTCHC policy and procedures

Salary & Benefits

· 36-40 hours work week
