Candidates with Expanded Functions and / or Coronal Polishing are preferred, but not required for this position as we are willing to train and provide the resources to the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry
  • Taking & developing dental radiographs
  • Assists our hygienist with taking x-rays & assists with hygiene chart notes
  • Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; and answering patients' questions
  • Ensures accurate patient records (treatment planning, medical history)
  • Takes dental impressions
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, restocks supplies

Qualifications

  • Dental : 1 year (Preferred)
  • Expanded Functions (Preferred)
  • Coronal Polishing (Preferred)
  • Radiology License (REQUIRED)
