Vineapple is looking for a talented, friendly, and dependable barista to round out our Café Team. We are a volume coffee shop, full service restaurant, and bar located on Pineapple Street in Brooklyn heights.
We are looking for somone who is experienced, has a passion for coffee and customer service, and wants to join a small team at a neighborhood institution and contribute to our continued success.
Total gross compensation for our baristas has averaged $33 per hour including base wage and tips over the past 3 months.
An ideal candidate will possess:
*Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume or neighborhood cafe environment.
*Love of coffee and food
*Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player. We have cultivated an incredible team atmosphere at Vineapple and we all work together to 'do everything.'
*A warm and gracious outlook, the ability to create stellar guest experiences.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*A can-do attitude, not afraid to get their hands dirty.
*Excited to build a new clientele and gain a following.
*Skilled with Toast POS a plus.
*TIPs Certification and NYDOH Food Handlers a plus.
