LIMRA and LOMA currently have an opportunity for a full-time hybrid Business Unit Coordinator to join our Research team. This is a role full of diverse duties and responsibilities and is a great position for the right individual. We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant/Business Unit Coordinator who is a self-starter, has strong organizational skills, and will provide overall administrative and research support for the team. This position provides overall administrative and project support for assigned staff and units, and others throughout the division as capacity allows. Focus is on administrative support and coordination, client meeting planning and organization as well as ad hoc research and project support, tracking, and coordination.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for assigned business units and others as needed
  • Assist with financial management activities (e.g., submit invoices to Accounts Payable, track invoices submitted for specific projects, identify needed budget codes)
  • Serve as SharePoint site administrator for department team
  • Provide support with client meetings;
  • Organize and coordinate in-person and virtual meetings; arrange online meeting registrations; assist attendees with details on logistics;
  • Provide on-site support in Windsor, CT office for in-person meetings.
  • Assist research staff with making travel arrangements and processing expense reports
  • Support staff by assisting with various project-related research support tasks
  • Provide training on company systems to staff as needed
  • Respond promptly to customers (internal and external), using knowledge and unit resources as needed to answer questions/request
  • Maintain customer and client lists required for assigned groups (Salesforce)
  • Review submitted time in time management system (UKG)

Skills you will bring:

  • Experience making travel arrangements and processing expense reports
  • Microsoft Office, strong Word, Excel, & PowerPoint skills
  • Experience coordinating and planning meetings (virtual and in-person)
  • Ability to exercise initiative and knowledge to reply to unit inquires/requests
  • Accounts Payable/Expense report submittal experience
  • Attention to detail; strong fact-checking and validation skills
  • Sound written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Web-ex, Salesforce and SharePoint a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
