About us:
Position Overview:We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Powersports Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for powersports, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. As a Powersports Salesman at Gene's Powersports, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships, providing product knowledge, and guiding customers through the sales process.
Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to understand their powersports needs and preferences.
Showcase and demonstrate the features and benefits of ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and boats.
Effectively communicate product specifications, financing options, and promotions.
Conduct test rides and watercraft demonstrations to enhance customer experience.
Negotiate pricing and finalize sales transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, new models, and product knowledge.
Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience, preferably in powersports or a related industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for powersports and knowledge of ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, and boats is a plus.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Familiarity with the brands we carry (Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha Waverunner, Sea-Doo, and Excel Boats) is a plus.
Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain relevant certifications.
