Role: As a commercially focused Salesperson, you will be responsible for cultivating and securing business within your assigned territory. You will regularly visit commercial, industrial and residential contractors to promote Lester Sales’ vendor partner’s products and solutions. You will also develop and maintain relationships with specifiers to expedite the flow of project business.
Status: Full time
Responsibilities:
· Meets or exceeds sales goals as established by Vice President/Directors
· Develops sales strategies and business plans that will create new, profitable opportunities with local electrical contractors
· Visits contractors and specifying engineers within territory in a targeted, systematic manner; enhances and expands opportunities within the CRM
· Maintains list of local construction projects and developments
· Closes opportunities as won/lost in a timely manner
· Enhances the Lester Sales brand by presenting themself in a professional manner
SKILLS, ABILITIES:
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills
· Able to present in a technical and persuasive manner
· Experience managing an outbound sales plan within a territory
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to establish rapport, develop relationships, and close sales
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Legally eligible to work in the United States
· Must live in the territory for which you are applying
· High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred
· Three years of experience in a sales or electrical construction management role
· Good driving record, able to meet Lester Sales driving qualifications
· Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
