Job description
We're Expanding! Cashmere & Company, a Newport Beach Interior Design Firm, is looking for the right candidate to fill a Full Time Design Associate position.
Responsibilities
The Design Associate will work on interior space planning & project management. They will work side by side with the lead designer on extraordinary projects from start to finish!!
Qualifications
- Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a design firm
- Knowledge of Sketchup and CAD programs
- Must be able to collaborate and take leadership from our head designer
- Cooperative worker and team player
- Manage basic bookkeeping and office tasks crucial for the smooth operation of our creative firm.
- Process and track orders for multiple projects using Excel spreadsheets.
- Support marketing initiatives, including content creation and management for Instagram and other platforms.
- Maintain digital and hardcopy records binders, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily accessible.
- Utilize design experience to provide insights and assistance across various projects, where applicable.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
- Some travel may be required.
- References & Design Portfolio or Design/Project Images required with Resume Submission
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: approx. $30.00 per hour (opportunity for more based on experience)
Expected Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: 8-hour, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
