Emerald Transportation Solutions, a leading manufacturer of refrigerated trucks, is seeking a skilled Truck Body Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the precise assembly and caulking of truck bodies, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate power-assisted caulk gun to apply caulking and sealant accurately along long runs of truck body assemblies, ensuring smooth and even finishes.
• Assist in physically assembling truck bodies by gluing and lifting large wall panels into place.
• Follow written and oral instructions to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and maintaining stamina throughout the workday.
• Analytical thinking: Capable of monitoring work processes, identifying potential issues, and ensuring quality control.
• Mathematics: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints containing precise measurements, as well as making necessary calculations.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal communication abilities to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Measuring skills: Experienced in using various measuring tools and systems to ensure accurate and precise assembly.
• Proficiency in converting between fractions and decimals for measurement purposes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly work preferred.
