Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elementary education, a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and the ability to inspire and engage students.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and policies
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for the state of Michigan
- Experience as an elementary school teacher preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive, engaging educational environment
