Mid-sized Bankruptcy Law Firm seeks a full-time Legal Assistant/Bankruptcy Specialist to assist with the filing of documents necessary in the representation of its clients.

Job Description

Filing of Motions for Relief, Proofs of Claim and Notices related to creditor’s rights in Bankruptcy. Update and calendaring of matters via internal case management system and various software systems. Coordinate with team to meet internal and client timeline requirements while maintaining a standard of excellence in daily production.

Qualifications

· Some familiarity with creditor’s rights in bankruptcy

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced and frequently changing environment

· Attention to detail a must

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in using the US Bankruptcy Court ecf filing system preferred, but not required. College degree or certificate preferred, but not required. The pay range is generally $20-27 per hour and based on experience. This is an in-office position with the possibility of a hybrid remote schedule after successfully completing the first 90 days.
