Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary: The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading woodframe over podium luxury residential construction projects. Based in Hackensack, New Jersey, this role requires expertise in value engineering, budget adherence, strict schedule management, and proficiency in construction-specific technologies like Procore and Microsoft Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight and Strategic Planning:
• Manage all phases of the project from beginning to end.
• Implement detailed action plans, including schedules, resources, and work plans, adhering to value engineering principles.
• Budget and Cost Control:
• Ensure adherence to the budget, applying cost-saving strategies.
• Monitor financials and adjust plans to maintain budget control.
• Risk Management and Safety:
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and safety regulations for woodframe over podium construction.
• Negotiation and Scope Development:
• Conduct negotiations and develop scopes of work.
• Respond effectively to RFQs with detailed proposals.
• Stakeholder and Team Management:
• Manage and coordinate with various project stakeholders.
• Lead the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Schedule Management:
• Uphold a stringent project timeline.
• Coordinate project activities to prevent delays.
• Technology Proficiency:
• Utilize and maintain project management software such as Procore and Microsoft Project.
• Stay abreast of and proficient in other relevant construction technologies.
• Woodframe Over Podium Construction Expertise:
• Oversee construction specifics, ensuring luxury residential standards are met.
• Ensure appropriate construction techniques and materials are used.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of project management experience, preferably in luxury residential construction.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using Procore, Microsoft Project, and other relevant construction technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of value engineering and budget management.
• Proficient in Procore and Microsoft project

Additional Requirements:

• Position based in Hackensack, New Jersey, with travel to project sites as needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to safety.

Work Environment:

• A mix of office work and on-site project management.
• Travel required for project supervision and coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
