In search of candidate for Site Superintendent position with commercial Siding and Roofing company in RICHMOND, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain OSHA and company standards for safety at all times.

- Supervision and management of installation crews.

- Interfacing with General Contractor to ensure all conctractual respinsibilities are fulfilled, and day-to-day operations are in keeping with their direction.

- Interpretation of plans and details so as to ensure work is completed correctly.

- Adequately supply and support install crews so as to make sure they have everything needed to complete install work.

- Plan and schedule multi-phase installs to remain in keeping with general project schedules and mile markers.

- Review and approve all invoices to ensure accuracy.

- Complete minimal daily reporting to ensure administrative departments are up to date on job progress.

- Candidates for this position can plan on their time mainly being spent on a job site within the Commercial Construction industry.

What we are looking for in our ideal candidate:

- We prefer the candidate have experience in Commercial Siding and/or Roofing. However, experience is NOT required. We are absolutely willing to train the right candidate and pride ourselves on being able to do so in a patient, effective, and supportive fashion.

- Bilingual ability in is an advantage, but is not required.

- Some experience on a commercial construction site is preferred, but not required. Residential experience is fine as well.

- Although this is mainly a management role, any who apply must be able to lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs, and be okay with standing or walking for extended lengths of time. The role does require moving of materials from time to time, as well as the occasional operation of heavy machinery.

- Candidate must be able to read construction plans. Our work is not extremely difficult to decipher by any means, however a base knowledge is undeniably important in this role.

Details on the position:

- Compensation range is $45,000 to $65,000, paid annually with holiday bonus based on performace. Pay to be commensurate with experience, ability, and can be further discussed later in the interview process with our Director of Operations.

- Hours may vary as various projects require, however we operate on a standard 40 hour work week as much as possible. Should projects require any changes be made to an employee’s schedule, we work as a team to pitch in and make sure no single employee is having to sacrifice huge chunks of personal time for any one project.
