Associate Attorney Position
The Vernon Law Firm, a small, well-established law firm in Burlington, NC, has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney. As an associate attorney, you will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of practice areas including but not limited to civil litigation, family law, business, real estate, estate planning, and estate administration.

The qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited School of Law, be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and be in good standing with the Bar. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience. The candidate will need to work well with a team and participate in business development. Position requires strong work ethics and excellent communication.

Applicant must be a motivated, energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude. Must be fine with managing a large case load. Must exhibit strong time management and organization skills. They must be able to quickly establish relationships with clients, office staff and court personnel. Applicant must be computer savvy with a working knowledge of basic software. Must have the ability to analyze facts, identify key legal issues and conduct necessary legal research. Must be able to plan, develop, and execute creative litigation strategies. They must be able to express complex legal concepts, arguments, and conclusions in a clear, concise and logical manner. Salary will be based off experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
