Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Middle School Science Teacher at Seminole Science Charter School. The Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons to middle school students. The teacher will also participate in curriculum development activities and ensure that lessons are aligned with state standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in lesson planning and delivering engaging science lessons
- Strong knowledge of middle school education
- Experience in curriculum development, specifically in science education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A passion for STEM education
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification is preferred
- Experience in a STEM-focused school is a plus
