RAOFACTOR is Hiring an Event Producer Near Fort Worth, TX

Event Producer

Manages and designs all aspects of our client event experiences, from pre- to post-event. Our dynamic, fast growing company is looking to add additional event designers to our design team. RAOFACTOR launched in 2015 has grown quickly to be one of the leading event decor and design firms in Texas. Although based in Texas our team travels coast to coast as well as internationally. This person is a seasoned live event professional able to assess any assignment and execute it from beginning to end with little to no oversight. Pay rate is dependent on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Impeccable taste and design sense; highly creative at fresh, innovative concepts for live event activations.
  • Check off all event materials before the production team begins loading trucks.
  • Oversee the fabrication of custom event materials.
  • Oversee warehouse staff loading/unloading trucks pre/post event
  • Lead pre-huddle meetings and any staff training sessions before the event.
  • Train and manage a team of direct reports as assigned.
  • Train on-site crew as needed. Manage on-site team (internal and/or external) for the event.
  • Prepare a staff assignment list for each on-site team member with details of the event expectations.
  • Process paperwork for contractors or vendors as required.
  • Coordinate with designer and venue contact to create an emergency plan and a staff manual, reviewing with the on-site team prior to the program.
  • Manage on-site teams and operations, and act as main client contact where appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES

  • Ability to work full time with an appropriate remote office setting for running virtual meetings or events.
  • Ability to travel to the office for meetings & events as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation for traveling to/from remote working locations.
  • Ability to travel for assigned projects both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the year.
  • Extreme attention to detail and exceptional project management skills
  • Desire to constantly learn the newest concepts, ideas, and trends within the events industry to help deliver exceptional experiences to our clients.
  • Friendly and confident demeanor – you know the questions to ask to get all of the information needed to prepare an amazing strategy for a client’s event, and how to communicate that information to an internal team to create a truly memorable experience.
  • Extremely detail oriented and well-organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, having a patient and calm approach when managing multiple projects.
  • Work independently or manage a team to provide appropriate deliverables to clients.

EDUCATION TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Events, PR, or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years working in event design and production
  • Preferred: Experience working with Fortune 500 Clients
  • Preferred: Hold a CSEP, CMP or other related designation
  • Preferred: Cvent Certification or equivalent experience in event management & sourcing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, speak, and hear with aid, see, read, reach with arms and hands, and use a computer, and telephone.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift to 25/50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel via car, bus and/or airplane.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
