Andrews Academy Lake Saint Louis has begun the search for a dynamic and engaging Fifth-Grade teacher to join our creative and collaborative team of educators.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate skill and passion for designing lessons with an intent to spark interest, engagement, critical thinking and collaboration.

We are a staff of lifelong learners as we collaborate to inspire our students through real world hands-on Project Based Learning experiences.

Guiding students to make connections across the past and present to determine the causes and outcomes of historical events is enriched and supported by reading and discussing historical fiction, partaking in relative field experiences, developing empathy and problem solving during simulations, and acquiring deeper knowledge through the examination of a variety of documents, images, and other valid resources. Our Fifth Grade's focus is an immersive study of the time period from Immigration to America through the Civil Rights Movement.

While much of our curriculum is designed by the masterful members of our faculty and staff, knowledge and/or experience with Words Their Way and/or Envision Math is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
