Huntington Learning Center of Harrisburg,... is Hiring a Summer Tutors Near Harrisburg, PA
LEARNING CENTER TUTOR
Huntington Learning Center, an accredited school with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools, located on Jonestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is currently looking for enthusiastic tutors with the ability and passion to work with our students to improve their skills in math, reading, and writing. Our goal is to increase our student's knowledge in these subject areas and provide them skills to be successful in the classroom.
There are no lesson plans to prepare or write. This allows our teachers to do what they do best - teach the subject and help our students gain a mastery of the subject.
All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome to apply.
- All instruction is administered as a 1:1 session in our learning center.
- Our center hours are currently Monday through Friday 3:30pm-8:30pm, and Saturdays 9:00-3:00pm.
- During the summer, these hours change to Monday through Friday 9:00am-8:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00-3:00pm.
- Scheduling is flexible. Some of our tutors work as little as 6 hours per week, while others work closer to 20 hours.

Job requirements:
- Professional in manner and articulate
- Responsible, dependable
- Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible
- Must have a college degree. Bachelor's degree or higher required.
- A Pennsylvania Teacher’s Certification is required when working in some areas
