Job DescriptionPathways to Independence, Social Service agency located in Kearny New Jersey Provides support to Adults with disabilities referred by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and The Division of Developmental Disabilities is currently looking to fill the following positions:
Supported Employment Specialist/Job Coach. Person will be responsible to:
  • Work with individuals with disabilities referred by DVRS, in supporting them
  • Finding job opportunities within the community.
  • Develop and implement pre-placement, placement and follow-along supports.
  • Provide intensive to
  • follow-along job supports to consumers who obtain employment.
  • Drive consumers to and assist with job search and interviews.
Requirements:
  • FT Position, Mon-Fri.
  • (40 hours per week) must be flexible with their schedule.
  • Requires Valid Driver’s License,
  • Associate’s Degree Required. Job Coach and experience
  • Working with individuals with disabilities.
