San Marcos Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep is Hiring a Cashier ($12.50/Hour-TUES & THURS 1-7PM Shift & SAT 7:30AM-1:30PM Shift) Near San Marcos, TX
At San Marcos Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we are always looking for motivated and energetic individuals to join the San Marcos Team! We are currently looking to hire a Part Time Afternoon/Evening Cashier. $12.50/Hour rate. Must be available to work Tuesdays, Thursdays 1-7 PM & Saturdays 7:30 AM-1:30 PM. The remaining hours are flexible but those are set at this time.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: If you are a student, I am looking to hire someone that is available to work these hours from now thru at least Fall Semester. Interviews will start the week of June 17th. Start date will be likely be the last week of June or 1st week of July depending on hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Answer dealership group phones, greet and receive prospects and customers.
- Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the salesperson.
- Work cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams.
- Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Handle all monetary transactions.
- Light cleaning
- Coffee/Snack preparation for customers
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work Tuesdays, Thursdays 1-7 PM & Saturdays 7:30-1:30 AM (set schedule) . There will be opportunities to work extra hours if desired (up to 28 hours per week) but applicant must be able to work the Tue/Thu/Sat shifts (thru at least Fall Semester if a student).
- Must be comfortable working with computers.
- Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
- Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
- Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug test
