As Traffic Engineer I you will play a key role in performing technical analyses, studies, and research involving the planning, operation and design of Village Transportation system. 

As Traffic Engineer I you will:

• Plan traffic data collection including field work to gather information 

• Coordinate and review with other State and local agencies for transportation improvements 

• Work with other Village departments to provide comprehensive assessment and problem solving related to projects both in the office and in the field

• Assist in preparing and reviewing plans for in-house projects including Village, State, and Federally funded work

COMPENSATION2024 Salary Range of $77,819 - $110,503
Starting salary DOQ

HOURS AND SCHEDULEFull-time - 40 hours per week/8 hours per day
Monday – Friday between 8 a.m and 5 p.m.(other hours may occasionally be necessary to fulfill the duties of the position)
