Geological Resources, Inc. is Hiring an Environmental Scientist Near Winterville, NC

Position Overview: As an Environmental Staff Scientist at Geological Resources, Inc., you will play a crucial role in conducting environmental assessments, collecting and analyzing data, and contributing to the team of existing professionals on existing and new projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, geologists, and other science degreed professional, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct fieldwork that includes environmental sampling, site assessments, data collection, underground storage tank removals, and drilling activities.

Analyze environmental data and help prepare technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines.

Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements / changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Previous experience in environmental consulting or a related field is preferred.

PE or PG license is a plus.

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations in North and South Carolina.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Proficient in using Microsoft office products.
