Reasons to Believe (RTB) is an international, outreach-oriented, science apologetics ministry. Our mission is to spread the Christian gospel by demonstrating that sound reason and scientific research—including the very latest discoveries—consistently support, rather than erode, confidence in the truth of the Bible and faith in the personal, transcendent God revealed in both Scripture and nature.

We are seeking a full-time in office project manager to shepherd all MarComms projects, keeping them on track from start to finish. Also to act as a liaison between MarComms and stakeholders in other departments as well as a liaison between RTB and outside vendors. Finally, to oversee multiple calendars and utilize them to strategize and create timelines for key responsibilities within MarComms. Responsibilities/Duties:

Overarching

  • Interact with other departments to identify/address time-sensitive marketing needs.
  • Strategize and create timelines considering capacity.
  • Schedule meetings and track timelines/tasks for teammates
  • Create projects within Asana and SharePoint
  • Follow up with parties as needed (both inside and outside of MarComms, and inside and outside of RTB) to keep tasks on track.

Product Development Management

  • Serve as liaison to printing services, collecting price quotes, placing orders and following up with major printing, shipping, and production jobs for RTB Press books and marketing related materials.

Premium Marketing Management

  • Work with MarComms team to brainstorm marketing strategies for premiums.
  • Create campaign brief.
  • Interact with other departments to inform and, when needed, to strategize. (Could include strategizing of launch dates, deliveries to warehouse, etc.)

Other Marketing Campaigns Management

  • “Interview” project owners and complete an intake form.
  • Act as a liaison between MarComms and project owner to negotiate/formalize marketing plans for project.
  • As needed, research marketing trends for books, publishing, and new products and provide effective reporting to stakeholders.

Management of Specialized Calendars/ Projects

  • Manage and maintain the Ministry Communications Timeline.
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar (being developed).
  • Manage and maintain with Publicity in the Trend Jacking Calendar.
  • Project manage SEO blogs (being developed).
  • Take on other tasks as assigned by the MarComms Director.

Qualifications:

  • Capable of managing a high volume of projects and tasks with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Capacity to learn new software and database management (proficiency in Asana a plus)
  • SEO knowledge a plus
  • Certified in project management a plus
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Familiarity of production and marketing of new products
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to create strategic timelines a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong copywriting skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Proactive self-starter and problem solver; exercising creativity and adaptability
  • Committed Christian
  • Ability and character to effectively represent RTB’s mission, vision, purpose, and core values
