Job Title: Parts and Accessories Specialist Company: Bent Marine Location: Metairie

Bent Marine, a leading Marine dealership, is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts and Accessories counter clerk to join our team in Metairie. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn the Marine industry and a natural propensity to upsell customers on accessories. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing Marine parts and accessories, both in-store and over the phone
• Proactively upsell customers on related products and services
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Marine parts, accessories, and industry trends
• Process parts orders and ensure timely delivery to customers
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any discrepancies or replenishment needs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries promptly
• Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Natural ability to upsell and promote products effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays as needed
