The Coventry Village School has an opening for a Math Interventionist for the 2024-25 school year. Candidates should be knowledgeable in mathematical concepts and be able to work collaboratively with the teaching staff in order to offer additional support to the student population. The successful candidate will be able to collect and analyze student data in order to align instruction to the appropriate Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) level. In addition to supporting students individually and in small groups, the candidate will use evidence-based practices, including frequent formative assessment, to develop the high-quality interventions required by Vermont’s Act 173. The successful candidate will integrate these elements and design a school-wide program that facilitates accurate identification of students’ needs along the MTSS continuum.Qualifications:● An in-depth knowledge of content and pedagogy. ● Bachelor’s degree in math or related subject; master’s degree or graduate level coursework preferred.● The ideal candidate will possess three years of classroom experience with demonstrated effective practices.● Excellent presentation and collaborative skills.● Strong understanding of the Vermont MTSS Framework and best practice and strategies.● A willingness to learn, and receptive to feedback.Salary & Benefits: As per Teacher’s Negotiated Agreement.
