Qualifications

• 3-5 years of apartment commercial construction management experience
• Record of leading & completing quality projects on-time & within budget
• Prefer college degree and/or other Construction Management training
• Full comprehension of the construction process and practices
• Experienced with blueprints, methods, scheduling & safety standards
• Ability to effectively manage Construction Superintendents and Subcontractors
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
• Self-directed, proactive, decisive, and strategic in approach
• Active listener with clear communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

• Manage projects adhering to budget, schedule & quality standards.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractors & superintendents.
• Develop project schedules/timelines & monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Inspect work progress to identify issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, superintendents, etc.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve change orders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Resolve conflicts and negotiate to find mutually acceptable solutions.
• Prepare progress reports, updates, and forecasts.
• Manage documentation--contracts, permits, drawings, specs, and other documents.
• Supervise direct reports, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
