Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the operations of our child care facility. The Child Care Director will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care, as well as managing the staff and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs and activities that promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to enrollment, attendance, and child development
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
- Manage the daily operations of the child care facility, including scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing supplies
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and accreditation standards
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in early childhood education
Skills:
- Higher education teaching experience in early childhood education or related field
- Strong leadership skills with experience in education administration
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and community members
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience working with diverse populations of students
