The Blick Center has been helping individuals for 50 years. Serving early childhood, school age and adult individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, physical, and mental health diagnosis.

A DSP is a professional who empowers & supports an individual with a disability by providing skill development, social skills, & assisting with daily living activities (bathing, self-care, etc.

All homes are located in the Akron area.

Starting pay $17 / hour plus a $1 / hour shift premium for working weekends starting Friday afternoon to Monday morning.

We have flexible hours for full-time and part-time shifts

• weekdays 2pm-10pm (varies by home)
• weekday mornings 6am-9am (varies by home)
• weekend hours (all shifts)

We offer paid training, including First Aid & CPR. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Requirements :

• high school diploma or GED,
• valid driver's license with less than 6 points,
• able to push & pull or lift up to 50 pounds,
• 18 years of age & older.
