Join the Wasabi Team! We are looking for a friendly, motivated candidate with excellent communication skills.

Schedule must be available evenings and weekends. The perfect candidate for us is a motivated team player who always puts the guest first.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

-Assist general manager to do restaurant daily operations and employee management.

Also includes:

·Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce server's name

·Bussing and setting tables.

·Answering phones to take reservations and to-go orders.

·Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, accepting currency, calculating and issuing change for to-go orders

·Manage the flow of guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate

·Staying up to date with specials, hours of operation as well as take-out and ordering procedures.

·Restocking/organize liquors

·Tidying restrooms and other common areas

·Weekly inventory

·Make sure in the end of the day cash out correctly

Must be able to:

-Basic computer skills.

-Work under pressure.

·Walk and stand for prolonged amounts of time.

·Carry trays or supplies (10-20 lbs.)

·Clearly communicate guests needs to servers, management and kitchen staff.

·Reach, bend, stoop and wipe

·Thrive in a fast-paced environment

·Effectively communicate on the telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
