Kennel Technician/Veterinary Assistant

ABOUT YOU:

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with a smile

• Experience as a technician, vet assistant, kennel technician or background in animal care is ideal but not absolutely required

• Willingness to work weekends (with some weekends off) and holidays as needed

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

• Ability to stand, sit and walk for prolonged periods of time

• Love of animals with no hesitancy around unpredictable dogs, cats, small animals and exotics

• Must be willing and able to jump in wherever needed covering a wide range of duties including (but not limited to) assisting the doctors with patients, answering phones, cleaning kennels, exercising pets and administering medications.
