About YOU:

We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative that will be responsible for the sale of Borestore tooling and parts to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales offices, stores, showrooms, and customer job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Time and Territory Efficiently: strategically plan and prioritize your schedule to maximize coverage and impact within your assigned territory.
  • Customer Support and Engagement: Proactively call on all drill customers, providing essential support during drill startups and acting as a reliable resource for our sales team.
  • Business Development: Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase sales.
  • Sales Planning: Plan and execute effective sales calls with clear objectives focused on driving Borestore parts and tooling sales.
  • Utilize Sales Tools: Leverage Vermeer sales aids and resources to enhance your sales presentations and customer interactions.
  • Customer Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve the lowest operational costs and maximize equipment lifespan.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with Vermeer Mountain West leadership, and develop strong working relationships with VMW Parts, Service and Sales personnel.
  • Order Follow Up: Regularly follow up with customers on the status of parts and tooling orders, keeping them informed of any changes in costs and turnaround times.
  • Administrative Accuracy: Complete all paperwork and parts quotes accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred experience in the Infrastructure and Construction industries
  • CDL Class A (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, squat, or climb on equipment frequently
  • Lift at least 75 pounds
  • Stand or walk for an extended period on slippery or uneven job sites
  • Work in extremely hot or cold weather conditions
  • Basic mechanical skills required (ability to load and unload trailers, change a tire, etc.)
