Kitchen Lead

Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud Supper Show is searching for an upbeat, organized and experienced Kitchen Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in a kitchen setting and a familiarity with inventory management. This person should have a strong desire to learn and a collaborative mindset. 

Job Duties 

• Maintain the quality of the Supper Show kitchen, seeking to create amazing experiences for our guests. 
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as kitchen hygiene practices.
• Assist Kitchen Manager with inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Continuously seek ways to improve kitchen processes and ensure prompt guest service. 
•  Oversee kitchen staff to ensure consistent execution and presentation of meals. 
• Assist Kitchen Manager with running daily shifts and leading team members.
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff by creating a positive and encouraging work environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of kitchen or culinary experience.
• Managerial or lead experience preferred. 
• In depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and conflict management abilities. 
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills. 
• Ability to lead and encourage others.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
