Job Summary
The Logistics Technician transports imaging equipment to and from customer sites to install, deinstall, or move equipment. Transportation is local or overnight, dependent upon customer location. The 40 hour work week may also include supply chain and warehouse functions when not transporting. Customer service, safety, and reliability are fundamental skills for success.
Essential Functions
1. Transport, install, de-install and move imaging equipment.
2. Assist in loading and securing material on truck and assist warehouse personnel in verifying material and equipment tools for accuracy.
3. Deliver equipment to commercial clients according to Department of Transportation safety and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
4. Assist Universal Medical logistics and engineering team with unloading equipment.
5. Provide positive and professional customer service.
6. Responsible for completion of Quality Management documentation, accurate and timely information into Salesforce database and maintaining required Department of Transportation paperwork.
7. Maintain cleanliness and perform daily safety checks on truck and inform supervisor of any mechanical, electrical or structural defects found.

Must be able to lift/move between 50-100 pounds, walk, sit, stand, climb, balance, bend, stoop, and reach arms above the head.
Education/Training/Licenses
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Class B CDL license preferred. Universal Medical will pay for training if needed.
