DESCRIPTION -
* Collect and document information necessary to perform Functional Behavior Assessments on students with complex behavioral challenges.
* Develop positive behavior intervention plans for individual students.
* Train necessary staff to implement Positive Behavior Intervention Plans.
* Maintain appropriate records for the purpose of continuous progress monitoring.
* Provide training for Staff in data collection and documentation of various behavior interventions.
* Participate as a member of educational teams to design, implement and oversee behavior interventions within the classroom and school.
* Communicate with and engage parents in the implementation of behavioral interventions as appropriate.
* Work directly with students in classroom and/or other environments, as necessary, to model behavior intervention strategies for staff.
* Provide direct instruction to students in social skills, self regulation strategies.
* Support the value of education and the philosophy and mission of the district.
* Adhere to District policies and regulations.
* Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.
