Join Veritas as our Operations Project Manager and become a pivotal player in shaping our future. Reporting directly to the EVP of Operations, you'll be the architect of change, leading initiatives that propel our organization to new heights.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. This role requires a highly organized individual who can manage multiple projects through planning, execution, go-live, and post-monitoring. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
This role will work directly with the executive team, supporting the company with special projects that keep the organization moving forward, juggling various responsibilities with grace, precision, and a positive attitude.
· Collaborate with the EVP of Operations to execute special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Assist in financial reporting activities, including gathering data, updating system rate entries, and preparing reports for management review.
· Support in various administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and reports.
· Assist with all stages of deploying software, from planning to closing.
· Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
· Provide input on configurations to meet stakeholder requirements.
· Develop and maintain the project plan throughout the project lifecycle.
· Lead and facilitate all project meetings, both internally and externally
· Deliver clear and concise project status updates, fostering informed decision-making and proactive issue resolution.
· Champion proper escalation procedures for any arising issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
· Foster seamless collaboration across business segments, ensuring smooth project handoffs and implementation.
· Actively participate in post-implementation reflections, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement.
· Conduct thorough reviews of implementation processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and elevating the client experience to new heights.
Required Prior Experience, Characteristics:
· You thrive on a fast pace and ability to keep up with changing priorities.
· Possess an insatiable appetite for learning and growth, eagerly immersing yourself in operations metrics, rating systems, and software implementation.
· You are resourceful - if you don’t know the answer, you will go find out!
· You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Willingness to travel as required to support project initiatives.
· You take control of situations as they arise.
· Project management qualification (PMP) is preferred.
· Proven track record implementing best practices with high levels of client satisfaction.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization.
· Ability to juggle multiple implementations concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and fostering a spirit of curiosity and continuous learning.
