Tippecanoe County Public Library seeks a detail oriented and reliable individual to join the staff at the Downtown Branch. The successful candidate will provide primary support in the library’s Technical Services Department (TSD), assisting in cataloging library materials according to professional standards. Excellent computer skills are required.

The Cataloging Assistant will search for and export records from online resources, edit records to ensure accuracy, and link items to the library’s database. Assisting the Cataloging Librarian, performing weekly tasks and organizing the workflow of materials are a primary focus.

This is 40-hour, year-round position. TSD hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Some college preferred. Starting pay is $13.61/hour with paid leave and competitive benefits.
