Town Hall Grill is Hiring a Bartender Near Chapel Hill, NC

Town Hall Grill in Chapel Hill's Southern Village neighborhood is looking for professionals with high energy and excellent communication skills to be bartenders.

Bartenders should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable and personable. They must be able to multi-task and handle guests across both of our bars, while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of beers and drinks

This position is open to candidates seeking either part-time or full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Have product knowledge of all beer, wine, and food items
  • Be able to provide recommendations based on guest’s preferences
  • Build rapport with customers and ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the bar
  • Follow all local and state regulations according to the health department and ALE
  • Assist the bar manager with daily bar cleaning and maintenance
  • Have brand awareness and be able to increase sales through product knowledge
  • Ability to maintain and take tables depending on volume

Requirements:

  • An engaging, friendly personality
  • A passion for craft beer and the craft beer industry
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull 30 pounds
  • Know how to change kegs and clean lines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length
  • Certified Beer Server Certification
  • One year of bartending experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
