The Metropolitan Water District of Southern... is Hiring a Crane Certification Technician I Near La Verne, CA

Job Overview:
The Crane Certification Technician is an intermediate level role that will assist with maintaining and ensuring the safety and compliance of crane operations within the Metropolitan Water District service area. In this role, you will assist with coordinating, inspecting, and certifying various crane and lifting devices to meet safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with both external contractors and internal staff to schedule and assist with thorough inspections of cranes, lifting devices, platforms, stands, load-bearing accessories, and other related equipment. Additionally, you will assist with the troubleshooting, repair, installation, and modification of Metropolitan’s cranes and lifting devices.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High school diploma or high school equivalency and six years of increasingly responsible, relevant experience.
Relevant experience is defined as: Crane operations, maintenance, or inspections

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this position are required to obtain and maintain the following certifications, licensing and registrations:

License(s)

  • Valid California Class C Driver License that allows you to drive in the course of your employment
